I'm running Panda Cloud free edition on my PC since the weekend. I removed MSE to give a Panda a go, since Panda doesn't update (virus definitions etc.). Give it a shot.

UNINSTALL IT NOW, ITS CRAP!!! Install Microsoft Security Essentials :) and use it with Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware.

Btw, my boot time is down to 49 seconds with Panda:

My boot time is the same as yours, except I have 57 applications running. This is my work pc though, specs:

Intel i3 560 3.33Ghz
4.00GB (no clue what memory though)
32bit Windows 7 Professional

It's a new machine so it's pretty solid, It takes about 11 seconds from the boot screen to get into windows, and then the processes take the rest of the time.

I'm running a Core2Duo 6400 clocked at 2.3Ghz
2GB RAM
Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit

So it's nice to see I par with an I3 :p ;) :D

Heya... downloading Soluto now... installing... should be interesting to see...

Got it down a bit , but now I am getting an explorer.exe stopped responding error at login, a Stardock Fences dll seems to have gone wonky.

Very nice little application this... will keep an eye on it.

@teraside, funny enough I have the same cpu as you at home, and the difference between this one and the i3 is insane. Like software runs so much faster and everything is smoother. I'm busy looking to upgrade my computer although that'll take a while. I've just ordered myself 2 x 2GB memory for the pc at home and a nice cpu cooler, so I can overclock it a bit more and see how it runs then.

I'm running Standard Cooling on my PC and have no heat issues, the CPU is clocked 2.1Ghz standard.

I must confess though, the 49 seconds are with about 5 delayed applications, my GPU Overclocking, MagicTune for my Samsung Monitor, My Audio Software and Orbit Downloader gets delayed at startup. So it means I boot faster and the other apps load about 2 minutes or so later, because they aren't critical.

I think should I upgrade it would be RAM as well, I'm not a gamer actually :p

I still have Soluto installed. I tend to revert to Autoruns sometimes though, since Soluto doesn't exactly show all bootup entries :p

I had it installed... saw what booted... what I could remove... did that uninstalled it... as with it, there was still a lag to start up the delayed programs

It's suppose to lag when starting delayed programs, since it's delayed until all other programs are started
