Yup we could be on stage 2.
So... a precaution, more lies, politics (automatically presumed to be lies currently), Leftist socialist destruction plans, green goblins, or what??

We really need an independent monitoring body for this utility.

That we do. all i can think of is they are reserving some of the hydro maybe?

Yup we could be on stage 2.

Well goes hand in hand with a rumour doing rounds that the anti-Zuma crowd are investing and pushing for renewable energy's.

Make sense if you wanna make bucks. Invest in lithium and solar panel plants, stuff up sole energy producer, reap the sweet sweet reward when everyone comes and buy your goods.

A family member runs one of the biggest pvc manufacturing plants and regularly gets calls from Eskom asking them to reduce their usage.

It's a serious knock to their operations shutting down machines. They are going to shut down the plant by the end of this month as the cost to run diesel generators or restarting the production line is too expensive. First time the plant will be shut down for an extended time in over 12 years.

Their monthly electricity bill is R5.5 million excluding vat.
You can't just shut down a PVC moulding machine...

Best to stock up on PVC pipes etc.

We should turn it into a lotto, anyone's guess. I mean, how do we go from stage 1 on Thurs. early morning to 2 on Fri. same period, and are Sun. & Mon. missing timeslots or is that a break? Nobody knows.

Who knows with them, how can tomorrow which normally is when demand starts winding down be higher than tonight?

The plastic injection machines use electricity to heat the elements to melt the plastic so it can be moulded.
Sorry my bad somehow I read vacuum mould, which is something my company does but we heat the sheets in an oven before the mould process
