So... a precaution, more lies, politics (automatically presumed to be lies currently), Leftist socialist destruction plans, green goblins, or what??Yup we could be on stage 2.
We really need an independent monitoring body for this utility.

Yup we could be on stage 2.
You can't just shut down a PVC moulding machine...A family member runs one of the biggest pvc manufacturing plants and regularly gets calls from Eskom asking them to reduce their usage.
It's a serious knock to their operations shutting down machines. They are going to shut down the plant by the end of this month as the cost to run diesel generators or restarting the production line is too expensive. First time the plant will be shut down for an extended time in over 12 years.
Their monthly electricity bill is R5.5 million excluding vat.
Wait..at least I miss the 10 to midnight shift tonight finally I actually miss something.
Who knows with them, how can tomorrow which normally is when demand starts winding down be higher than tonight? We should turn it into a lotto, anyone's guess. I mean, how do we go from stage 1 on Thurs. early morning to 2 on Fri. same period, and are Sun. & Mon. missing timeslots or is that a break? Nobody knows.
Any injection moulding plant also has the same problem......the last thing you want is plastic cooling down whilst still in the mould. Big **** up.You can't just shut down a PVC moulding machine...
Best to stock up on PVC pipes etc.

The plastic injection machines use electricity to heat the elements to melt the plastic so it can be moulded. We use fuel for our burners not electricity,
Sorry my bad somehow I read vacuum mould, which is something my company does but we heat the sheets in an oven before the mould processThe plastic injection machines use electricity to heat the elements to melt the plastic so it can be moulded.

Yup I know right, latest tweet from Sikhonati shows we shouldn't be at stage 3According to this, we really shouldn't be having load-shedding from 10PM-5am....
Maybe first waiting to see what repaired units manage to get going properly today.Hmmm wonder if anything is going to be announced.
After all this time you still believe anything they say?Maybe first waiting to see what repaired units manage to get going properly today.
