Product Survey - 192k Uncapped

Would this be shapped or unshapped? Would there also be a AUP?

Was also my query.

There are plenty of "moms and pops" out there that will "upgrade" from dial-up to this.

Also, most 384 uncapped products are throttled to death during the day and you end up getting around 10 hours of "full speed" on them.

If the 192 is is not shaped/throttled, it could be better than the 384 product!!!

SAD:cry::cry::cry:

One would think in this day and age one would be discussing 10MB/s uncapped not 192K

Too expensive
Wazzup offers uncapped/unshaped 386 kbps (incl line rental) for R305 p/m

Hey Friends,

Thank you for your feedback. It is most appreciated.

We will take this information into consideration when we decide whether to build such a product or not.

what we really need is nonbull**** uncapped, however at the prices we want it's not yet possible due to "local intervention" afaik.

totally OT, but if i may i have looked at your gold uncapped accounts and was wondering if they also go via seacom ? do they have some sort of fall-over ?

Hi MrBEEP

If you answer the question(s) posed by myself and Moggie you will likely get better results and more useful feedback

Hey Friends,

It would be slightly shaped, only when the network is busy. It will not have an AUP.

Our Gold Uncapped has SAT3 failover :)

If the shaping is not in a fixed period (i.e. forced from 7h00 to 19h00) and ONLY when traffic is peaking, then it is not a bad value proposition for an entry level product.

I dont think one would need a seedbox. But if you do, that is your choice to make, not ours.

to answer the OP ... NO!

for a little more you can get alot more ... i would rather go for the 384kb

if a product like this is released i don't see how people will join up for it considering isp's like wazzup and mweb offering 384 for slightly more than your 192...

edit : unless you offered it unshaped than maybe you could pull in alot more peeps, i really don't understand why a 192 line should be "slightly" shaped at all to be honest. most peeps on here complain that 384 is so slow that it shouldn't be shaped at all, so considering that why would you offer a shaped 192 (yes i know it's slightly shaped but still...shaped is shaped) :D i hope i provided some valuable feedback.

i should get paid for this dammit ! :D
