As mentioned in the article, the scores were taken from Metacritic

Metacritic tallies up scores from a wide variety of different sources of online and print media, such as IGN, Pcformat, Edge, Gamespot etc. It then averages the scores out.

All xboxs are covered by a 3 year swopout warranty thats why swopping out is not an issue unlike when a ps3 breaks u'll have to pay up to R1800 to replace the internal power supply system or R1400 just to have the laser replaced !

word of advice buy a console first then add comments ne ;)

coming from a noob, this is priceless. have you even seen a game on a PS3 or Xbox360 :rolleyes:
 
as much as i love PC gaming, dx10 is not a reason to play exclusively on PC. can you honestly say that you feel/see a difference in dx9 and dx10 games? if you do see a difference:

ohhh wait, theres more snow in dx10 version of Lost Planet :slaphead:
ohhh and theres a slight performance increase in assassins creed (on ati cards, right?)
and of course 3dmark vantage doesn't work in XP hehe

it has also been scientifically proven that i enjoy my naps on my couch (in front of the TV) more than the naps in front of my pc on the stupid chair. [citation needed]

The customization part is also far superior to consoles. Take a look at crysis DX10 at XHD and compare that to the best consoles have to offer.
 
The point of the article was to compare the games, rather than the consoles themselves. Based on this, I would personally choose the 360 (which is what i have:D )

I'm not really a metal gear solid fan, although, Little Big Planet looks absolutely amazing and has me eyeing the PS3 rather enviously lately
 
The PS3 is desperately in need of an exclusive on par with Gears of War. Resistance is not it.
