PS4 vs Xbox One

Nope in JHB sorry, it's Animeworx here in Randburg, they actually sell second hand games via their website to. Though it helps when you do a trade :)

get whichever one you like the exclusive games for more, maybe a ps4 because of the ratchet and clank series for the kid, or little big planet.

we obviously dont get consoles for good graphics we have pc's for that xD

I must say though.

I was at Rage the weekend and oh, my, ****. Until Dawn's graphics look so much better in real life than screenshots.

Like two different games.

I think the console war isn't much of a concern with Microsoft anymore when you consider that there are 120 million Windows 10 installs you can add another 13 million when Xbone gets it's Windows 10 update and you consider that only 25% of Steam's 125 million users have upgraded to Windows 10, many of who will probably take the plunge into windows 10 either for Gears or Halo. The PS4's 25 Million users total seems poultry

lol, nice way to put it. further, that 120 million windows installs was in the period of 3 months.

So you're saying if you have a gaming PC there's no reason to get an XBone?

Totally agree with you there.

PC + Playstation has always been the core gamer choice anyway. Throw in some Ninty as well.

i think you are trolling there.

but i'll bite, he was pointing out the overall business strategy for MS is it's core product which is windows 10, and that they have a schit more load users of it than the PlayStation console.

How will combining windows on PC and XBone benefit them?

Already most of the XBone games out on PC. I just don't see the value in it. And I have a 360. I just got it 3 years after my PS to catch up on exclusives.

And now there's this:

Even less reason to get a XBone if it ends up happening.

I still stand by my opinion that the only reason the 360 was popular in ZA was because it was cheaper and easier to pirate than PS3.

Now the PS4 is cheaper there's even less reason to even an XBone. All the weird Japanese type games are on PS3/4, and all the western type games are on PC.

maybe microsoft is pulling an SABMiller? be second in everything, but still rake in the most money. at the end of the day, who is the more valuable company actually ends out on top.
 
They are huge which is kinda scary. If they win, we'll be losing out on a lot of gaming diversity.

Where's the PS4 cheaper? The only reason it's ahead because it came out almost a year earlier. Also the xbox has cheaper digital games and xbox live has better free games.

You're thinking small. In Europe they came out a week apart and the ps4 has 90% marketshare in some countries. The bad ones ps4 has 70% marketshare.

@OP Mike made the most sensible posts. Having both consoles I completely agree with him.

Difference is negligible. You won't tell the difference in graphics. Xlive has better value but more people and probably your friends have a PlayStation.

Xbox controller is better IMO but having to buy a new controller to be able to use a normal headset is annoying.

I prefer Xbone but to each their own.

How does Europe sales have anything to do with the local situation?

The question is which console would be better for the OP. You are bringing fanboi'ism where it isn't needed.
