Yes but to buy a pc that's equivalent to a console is way more expensive. And don't want the kids to play on my pc if I want to do some web trolling

both my kids have laptops (non gaming) and ipads (school provided, although i'm sure i just paid for it in school fees) it's a requirement these days. among us (space fall guys) is not very resource intensive and great fun.

the ps5 is our last console, my boy is already hinting at a proper gaming rig. he's also more cognizant of girls these days, but a gaming pc is way cheaper in the long run :-)

hi..
anyone knows if any walk in store will have stock of ps5 at lunch?
i went to makro today and asked and they said they won't have stock beside the preorders and second batch is expected in december.

Walk in sales might only be in full swing Q2 next year, and this will be for both PS and XB.

Try different retailers, maybe they will have for sale on launch day but highly doubt it.

You will need to wait for world production to increase and see how things pan out with the state of import and export due to covid as well :(

Well with the introduction of those new RTX 3 GPU cards the older RTX 2 series might come down in price, but meh who knows :)

It might also be a good thing not getting one, let us idiots waste our money and test the consoles before-hand. By the time it hit the shelves, you should pretty well know what to expect. Besides there is no game out now that will only run on new consoles that I know of?

demon's souls will be ps5 exclusive on lunch

Timed exclusive yeah... Will make its way to PS4 if reports are to believed.
Are you referring to the rumor that has already been debunked but you continue to spread .

I did. But my curiosity got the better of me to see the hidden post.

Also updated my post where the rumor was debunked.

Ok, maybe you will explain to me how it is a timed exclusive when it will just go into the PS system?

Ok. Maybe we should agree on the definition of an exclusive. To me, it's what is available to a particular brand. As in, either Sony, MS, Nintendo or others.

Making a game available later on, to previous gens, of your own brand, is not affecting such exclusivity.

Lets put it in perspective - MS originally promised every game would be available to play on the past gens. Where was the cry about timed exclusives then?

I wish MS just did a Sony and chopped $100 off the price if you take a model without an optical drive. I would have bought a digital-only Series X, exactly like I'll be buying the digital-only PS5 eventually.

REALLY Disappointing News About The Xbox Series S

Then buy a series X if you want full HD/package and great fps ... duh

From the start the series S wasn't meant to be the powerful version, MS clearly stated that ... " You get what you buy "

No matter what anyone says, nothing, nada, zilch, zero, I am still buying the series S because ... well I damn well want one and the price per specs for that little machine is a no brainer compared to anything else.

PS: when you got little kids running around with sticky hands and plastic cricket bats, a nice shinny 4k TV really means nothing ... It's like cannon fodder to them ! :)

Actually Sony were the ones that waited for MS to announce the series S ... they simply took the ps5 and chopped the disk drive out to make it " Affordable " or " Digital " :)

There is nothing wrong with a series S - The machine will play games and run apps just fine, and if you want 4k native then buy the series X.

For me - R7000 compared to R10 000 is a big difference I am wiling to live with
