So my Spark is on the way, should be here by 18th December.

In mosselbay , had some thug try take my drone down!

Any recommendations for the teeniest-tiniest nano- or micro-drone with a decent cam? I want the most compact package under say $2k. Don't need long fly times.

Spark, I'd say, but it depends what type of footage you want. Spark has JPEG and 1080p while the Mavic has RAW stills and 4K.

That's amazing! Did you have your details on it?
Nope, the good samaritans checked the footage and traced it back to my parents' place.

Smallest I would go is the DJI Spark, but the Mavic Pro is not that big.

Thanks.

Ja, a nephew flew his Spark here last week. Very nifty. Surely there's something half that size?

Ooof, you're asking for a lot. Spark is the smallest decent drone I've seen. Might be wrong. What do you need something that small for?

I bought the Spark for a trip to Thailand and the size is perfect.

haha, rats of the sea those things. Had numerous encounters but no fatalities (gulls or drones) yet. Gets quite nerve wrecking. Tip: Birds are quick but can't fly vertically. If you get into a close situation where they get aggressive, max throttle and gain some altitude and sport mode out of there.

Also had a swarm of bees attack the drone. Drone was covered in Bee juice as I must of killed about a thousand.

That was the exact move up, and sport mode, 70km/h them rats couldn’t keep up
