Quake 3 Multi-player Local Server

Howsit,

I'm looking for ppl to play multi-player on the Quake 3 Arena Local SAIX server. Haven' t player in a long time, and think it would be awesome to play again.

If anybody knows of a Local "Unreal Tournament 2004" server where people play often, please give me the details as I can't find a server available.

Quake Live has local servers and plays within the browser. Just a big download initially but it works well for me. It's Quake3 in the browser. www.quakelive.com

I read about Quake Live. I cannot play it with local bandwidth. Want to play a multi-player game, that has a local server. I don't think Quake Live has a local server.

Dude theres like 20 or something local Quake LIVE servers, but I think you still have to download the client (300mb or something?) from int. Haven't played in about a year.

You either play Quake Live, which is basically an improved Quake 3, or the old retail Q3 by yourself with bots. You are SOL.

QLive is very popular locally, I doubt you will find people willing to install their old retail Quake 3 copies.

Can you please give me a list of a few local Quake Live servers? The only one i can find is www.quakelive.co.za, and that is not local. Its not loading with local bandwidth...
