errr ... done, seeing as I'm right next to it ... nothing noteworthy, nothing that can be classified as a storm imo

Dunno which area you are in.
I am perched overlooking the Atlantic, an boy its impressive.
NW pushing in, swell, well out of control.
Farking freezing. Found all the leaky sliding doors (eventually, I am a bit slow) :D

But this is the start, don't get happy you are not calling this a storm.

They would not shut UCT (with its own meteorological department) for a slight breeze.

Its still on its way.
Seriously, get to the ocean, (Atlantic side) quite impressive.

Peace and thank you, Respect to you.

Stay warm and dry today

EDIT;

Don't know if its the tide, but fark the swell is now breaking about 800 meters further out, getting massive. Just saw a set breaking about a KM off Sandy Bay, not seen that before.

Should be good viewing over a soup, definitely better than TV

Wind? What wind?? Why I could ride a 109km fun bicycle funride arround the peninsula in this weather!

Nothing really spectacular happening here in Saldanha. Sun is out and wind blowing like it normally does in the summer. Some big clouds on the horizon.

Crumbs can't get the videos up to you,
bandwidth on lte seems to have drastically reduced with a NW breeze.

Strange, when the SE blows, getting fantastic reception, NW buggered.
But I do live in a bunker flat under a house at the end of the suburb :-)

Try get the vids and other photos up later

Have a good one

Oh Position is close to https://www.google.co.za/maps/place...aee852f4ac5f43!8m2!3d-34.0099455!4d18.3430481

when a 6ft swell hits, Sandy Bay is like 3-4ft and kooking. Llands has been crap for months, hopefully some sand shifts with this wave action. And argh Sandy Bay sometimes not the nicest viewing when walking there to get in the water.

That little rock is usually my marker for when it is 4-6ft. i.e. line up with it about 2-5 meters out.
Farking breaking so far out its ridiculous.
Check where its breaking now, goodness, its just getting bigger. Fark, They say its gonna get bigger:erm:

Might be fake... but I have seen something like that before, didn't actually do anything and dissipated before it landed.
Seen the video on twitter, guy said he filmed it around 9:15am and its legit. Kloof Street he says. I don't know tbh

WTF is that?
Sorry for being ignorant but it looks like a tornado
Someone with some knowledge please enlighten me.

Wind backing off, sea just white,, hold on, here comes the rain.
