Went from heat wave to strong wind 2 days.A moderate intensity cutoff low with very strong South Easterly winds has developed over the Western Cape. Sprinkles of rain are likely for Cape Town itself, but much heavier falls are predicted further inland. Flash flooding is possible over parts of the normally dry Karoo:
