Ja, the pattern looks very similar to the previous cut-off low that formed. Interesting to watch these things unfold.The CoCT reports that Theewaterskloof is 100% full this morning (Wed 21st). The average dam level is 'only' 93.9%, since Voelvlei has some way to go at 64.5%. I probably won't post many more updates on this topic in the near future... Dams in parts of the Karoo and PE/NMBay are still in need of rain, but fall outside the scope of this thread.
Long term forecasts show the potential development of a cutoff low around Tues 27th (6-8 days ahead). Details will only become clear much closer to the time.
