Dams in parts of the Karoo and PE/NMBay are still in need of rain, but fall outside the scope of this thread.

Long term forecasts show the potential development of a cutoff low around Tues 27th (6-8 days ahead). Details will only become clear much closer to the time.

Ja, the pattern looks very similar to the previous cut-off low that formed. Interesting to watch these things unfold.

Kenilworth had 11mm yesterday afternoon, which had minimal effects. Some of the sports fields in Rondebosch had begun to dry out, but it takes a very long time for water levels to subside once the soil is saturated.

Parts of Paarl were flooded last week, but I don't know the locations where the rugby will be played.
 
Fixtures are hosted at Paarl Gymnasium and Danie Craven Stadium... watching now, Italy v Argentina, conditions are dry but heavy under foot and a little greasy...
 
The wind in Cape Town today has been pretty bad it woke me up early this morning, I hope it dies down tonight
