Finally back online .

The update i got from rain ,
Downgrade from 5G Premium to 5G Standard ,

Once i downgrade , It will sort out this issue .

So if anyone here can explain to me , How downgrading is going to fix this ,


So because i'm on 5G Premium i'll have a bad connection and fluctuating speeds but if i downgrade to standard it will automagically be sorted.

Because then clearly i'm missing something .

At the moment .

Its pretty simple, you vote with your wallet and cancel the service. Their 4G is basically ibrust at this point and it seems 5G will suffer the same fate.

We can drop all the DM's we want to it's not gonna solve anything.

Rain has 2 options since you can't resolve your problems by upgrading your infrastructure:

1. Cancel your agreement with Vodacom since they and their subscribers are the only ones benefitting from the deal and of course the bunch of greedy executives taking us for a ride.

2. Stop selling your products and hope against hope by some miracle the communication fairy solves your congestion problems before all your client's desert the sinking ship.

When will I receive any feedback on my connection problem. Last week 2 rain representatives promised me they were busy investigating but since then nothing, zilch, zero nada.

O yes I forgot to add these posts are made possible by buying Vodacom data.

Without the Vodacom roaming thing, we wouldn't have usable rain, so I guess that differs from person to person.

We don't have usable rain now.

Oh nah I meant we have usable rain because of the vodacom towers. The vodacom one we connect to is the only really good tower we have in our area. I know most of the towers they have are only 1800 band, which are congested and trash, but ours happens to be good. Just one of them...and it's 2600.
