Same story.

Ordered a sim and never got any call from RAM.

Just rocked up and then gave me attitude for not being there.

Piss poor reception in Umhlanga Ridge today, using a Huawei E5573 mifi device. In La Mercy, even at the back of my house, between several concrete walls I get two bars of reception. But today, walking about Umhlanga Ridge in the malls, I got zero bars most of the time.

@cavedog when i receive my replacement rain sim card how long do i wait till it is active?
i misplaced my RAIN sim several days ago

Well I guess it depends on when RAM Couriers scans and uploads the documents to Rain. Once that is done the activation happens.

Rain down for me as well.

On dashboard it indicates that I have reached my spend limit (which are set to R250 for uncapped, with the uncapped option selected).

Debit order amount also not correct, as they have only deducted about R129 this month for some reason.

Looks like Rain sorted out my billing issues from beginning of May. Correct credits have been passed and account is now correct. Thank you. Connection still not great though.

Tango down here in Somerset West this morning. Router reported almost full signal, then nothing, then 3 bars and then finally no signal again.

Edit: Back again

hello everyone i have got a huge problem with standard bank, RAIN, Peach payments these 3 are giving huge problems. when they try to charge me my full settlement of my account which is R550 they require me to pay that amount. i am paying with my Standard bank virtual credit card which is in my Rain account but apparently according to peach payments it is not being authenticated because for it to be authenticated i need to put in a One time password which i don't get on my phone and i only get a 3D securecode option when i do the payment manually i am only charged R1.00 . please help please i beg for help to get this problem sorted. so since they cannot charge my card and it goes through automatically i have no service my account is suspended with Rain

did you have the same issue as me ?

No, they charged me peak hours during off peak time and wiped out my spend limit. They credited it back. Their billing isn't 100%. On the statement it shows they debiting an old credit card but on the dashboard it has the card I recently loaded. I have told them. I haven't seen the charge go off yet on any of my cards so not sure which one they going to use :)

Please can someone who has used the Tymebank kiosk for a rain sim purchase explain the process for the benefit of the community. I plan to go to my local PNP this weekend and want to walk out with a working sim first time round. Also anyone know which PNP stores have rain sims or is it all stores listed on Tymebanks kiosk list?
