I'm in KZN (South Coast) and also have the beta option. Wouldn't mind being a tester for 5GThink it is only on your profile if you indicated you live in JHB or Cape Town when ordering the card. This is where they are supposedly rolling out 5G in the next few weeks so maybe they would want testers.

Typical fix one thing break another type of upgrade with little testing.
