Just trying to ascertain whether they've sorted their *** out yet.

Ordered mine on Wednesday last week and was delivered on Friday.

Today. Went to online chat on the Rain site to activate and a few minutes later it was working.

Ordered my sim on Tuesday night 24th July and it was delivered this afternoon.

I got mine yesterday, basically one business day after ordering.

Have been unable to connect yet using a Samsung S7 (supports both bands)

Sim shows as Active on my dashboard

Received it from them... Though that one got deleted somehow.

Recreated:
Apn: rain
MCC: 655
MNC: 38

Pretty sure that's how it was sent to me.

My local tower was on Rain (38)

Then Recreated the rain Apn.

Meh, yeah strange how much difference the location can make when using LTE

Rain Sim activated this afternoon. Ordered on Tuesday Night, delivery was yesterday afternoon and activation today. Overall a stress-free experience.

Ok, so Telkom decided to remove monice offers from both my sims, and today the network at work is also down. So now I've decided I want a rain Sim. But I don't want to wait for delivery.

Rain gives the option to collect but I get the feeling something is off if I look at where their site says their kiosk is.


Anyone know if it's possible to collect a Sim in stellenbosch?

Shouldn't be too long...have you looked at Axxess?
I got better speeds with them than with my AH RAIN ...just sayin'

All depends on your area and nearest tower signal strength/congestion/etc...

That seems to be a lot more expensive than rain.

Just finished my order, awaiting delivery.
