If rain doesn't work for me I'll look at changing. What issues did you have? My divisional manager has a rain sim and he is very happy, has good reception as well. So I'm buying on his recommendation.

Search for my posts on RAIN performance...been going on unabated for weeks now ever since the national outage and Vodacom freeloaders where moved onto RAIN via roaming agreement.

Your boss is lucky...some of us (me included never achieve more than 2Mbps/frequent timeouts, disconnections).

I for example can often not upload even modest 300k jpg files due to permanent congestion on my tower giving UL speeds of 0.01Mbps!!

So I received my sim today, just got an email saying it's activated. But it is not. How long did yours take to activate?

NVM, it's working now. Just received the settings. It's bloody fast in comparison to telkom.

For those on rain, can you connect to Xbox live? I keep getting errors.

It's also substantially slower at peak times.
