*READ FIRST* iBurst Network Status & Issues (DNS, Throughput and Latency)

It seems services are not 100% yet. Cannot connect and dl properly after midnight for the last few days...
 
Email and Account Login working for me now.

I also noticed that they didn't remove data from my account during the period that I couldn't login into the account.
 
It seems I am only able to connect to Diablo 3 servers after 24:00. Kinda sucks only being able to play games when I am supposed to be sleeping. Overall though the connection is actually browsing websites again at a tolerable speed, unless there are clouds within 10km of course :whistle:
 
Nobody is complaining, seems like iBurst is back on course.

What's the issue? Can't surf, disconnects, email, login, slow speeds?

During the day it's always slow for me, but it's consistent. I leave the downloads for after midnight.

It's extremely slow to browse, disconnects every now and then, pings are atrocious, can't logon to email and downloads overnight stop because of a non-consistent connection. For one, Steam lost connection mid-way through downloading a game (4.8GB) and restarted the download from 0 again when it regained connection (probably not iBurst's fault but it is annoying).
 
Does anyone know if Diablo 3 traffic is limited on iBurst? I cannot connect to the servers before 24:00. Kinda sucks since I have to sleep at that time.

Yip ... here too ...... now have to rely on ****ty Vodacom on an internal modem via a VPN to do any work ........... you think iBurst is bad ... try doing work in 5 minute bursts with 20 minutes of re-connecting with my setup here in Nelspruit .......... I HATE HATE HATE Vodacom !!!! ........ and their cellphone signals are the same .... have to make each call about 4 times before you actually connect ......... "congestion", "call failed", network busy .... I get them all ............ what a HEAP of crap
 
I get that they have problems with ICASA. I get that both parties are to blame for this. What I do not get, is that I have to pay a lot of money, for speeds that are laughable.
But most of all?
Can you at least have the decency to let your customers now what is going on, is this going to be for another day, another week, another month?
 
What are the DNS servers supposed to be?
Primary DNS address 196.30.31.193
Secondary DNS address 196.46.70.1
do not work for me.
 
you can try opendns 208.67.222.222,208.67.220.220 or google dns 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4 or other local dns mtn etc. 209.212.97.1 196.2.97.234
