On the Durban issue, yeah I've been experiencing the same issues for around 2 weeks now (even last night), so definitely not resolved on our end.

Still having connectivity issues in Durban.

I got a message via Twitter saying that iBurst would be running maintenance last night to correct the connectivity problems in the Durban area.

But since this morning there is not connectivity again. What did you break iBurst.

I have had more downtime than uptime this month.

I can also confirm that the Durban area still has problems both with intermittent connection rests and degraded speeds. This has been on going for about 2-3 weeks now.

We are busy diagnosing and doing maintenance checks on all the equipment in Durban. There isn't any obvious issue that has come to the fore but we'll continue investigating until we find the cause. If you can please PM me your UTID then I'll can see if it is associated with any specific BTS.

That damn person with the vacuum cleaner was hanging around the data centre again and the issues between 4pm and 5pm were related to failover between the DCs.

What is the story with iBurst in Durban. Its been weeks now with bad connectivity

Whats the story iBurst. The connectivity in Durban has been up and down for weeks now. And the speeds are just ridiculously slow. You guys have promised a service and are not delivering at all.

All the reps have also all gone missing off the forum, when they used to be very prominent. This does not look good. I must admit and I very worried as I am still under contract. If I was not under a contract I would have gone running away long time ago.

Im having problems today (Bscc 19), web pages sometimes take forever to open and I get timeouts. My signal strength also dipped between 30% to 50% a while ago, but now its back up to 100% again.

- What is going on?
