What happened in Pta last night? No connection from around 8pm until after midnight.
And the call centre phones just rang with no answer.

And today it is dial-up speed again.
Remind me again why we pay 800 bucks a month for this "service"?

Is the network in pta borked again? Last night and tonight the connection drops for a couple of seconds (not disconnect) and then picks up again. Damn annoying when you are try to browse or download, nevermind gaming.

Its getting worse, last night when i got home i showed up as an unknown network with the limited connectivity icon. Nothing has changed on my pc and its now disconnecting randomly. I'm not phoning technical support again, because they will just tell me the usual, delete cache, clear cookies etc etc.

I would suggest you take modem and pc over to a friend somewhere else in the city or even down to Joburg, set it up just to see for yourself. Take pics.

Perhaps extraordinary measures but you would be sure of things by doing that.

Can't browse the Internet, I keep on getting "the connection has timed out"

This is for local and international websites.

I can only post this because I have a cellc stick as backup.

Also I'm in cape town

I'm in Cape Town and experiencing the problem too.
Some local and international sites work, others do not.

Edit: On the line to the helpdesk now. They aren't aware of any issues in Cape Town, but have escalated.
