Recommend some over-ear headphones?

Can anyone recommend a pair of not-too-bulky over-ear headphones (preferably with a carry-case) for less than R1,000? The choice out there is bewildering!

Two that have stood out in my research so far are the Sennheiser 205 (approx R800), or the more expensive AKG K451, though neither have a case (I intend them for both home and travel use). Any better ideas or thoughts among the knowledgeable forumites out there? Thanks!

I know the Sennheiser HD380 Pro has a carry case, but unfortunately it is now R1500, where as I bought mine for like R1360 (incl shipping) from Retromusic just more than a year ago.
I recommended that set to my colleague and he's zoning out so much when he has that headset on that he almost falls off his chair when someone tries to get his attention

If you're doing lots of airplane travelling, then I'd suggest that you look a getting a decent headset with active noise cancelling, but then the decent onces are in the R3k price range
