Record TV onto a HDD

AFAIK you void the warranty when adding more HDD Space thats what sux but we'll buy the PVR for now and see what happens further. the only thing thats nice about a pc is that i can watch my recorded programs on my pc if i want.

So each has pro's and Con's

Very true, you get PVR enclosures, that you install your own HD, you can then unplug it and write to dvd, or watch it on your pc via usb. I’ll look for one on the pricelists for you.

Something like this?

"Magnetox V120 Video Recorder + bundled stackable B200 usb enclosure for 2.5"" IDE hdd
with schedule recording up to 100 events , hardware MPEG4 recording , silver + pearl white , mini size : 116 x 116 x 29mm , with remote control + SD/SDHC card reader , video/audio/picture output to TV, PC, iPoD, PSP, GBM, PMP, PDA, Smart Phone, & Mobile Phone ; video recorded to SD or external usb hdd , video support format DivX / XviD / AVi / VoB, MPG ; audio support format : MP3, WAV, WMA, AAC ; AV in/out , tuner input , mini usb"

I’ll see if I can find the one I wanted, it has a Ethernet port, that solves a lot of problems. It costs more....

They are not always that much cheaper than some of the big retailers, but it helps that I can claim back the VAT.
