Morning I get the following error, no json object could be decoded when I try and play channel
 
Having the same error. Tried logging out and back in - no dice. Help! There's a live match right now!

Yeah they updated the app today. The old version of the app I sideloaded on my tv box would not login anymore, had to sideload the latest one.

To fix on kodi I had to remove the kodi device via the android app (default is 'kodi' but remember it could be something else if you renamed it in the kodi addon settings)
Then go into addon settings and clear all addon settings and re-login
Then first channel you play will re-create the device as 'kodi' (you can confirm via the app). Then it works for me.

Haven't tried changing the device name
 
Mine is working now, removed from iptv merge and added again and started to work again.

I'll try that. We'll see if it works. Stupid DStv. Always making ridiculous changes that break everything.
 
Feeling sad... Could only watch a short match of the first half on the big screen. Had to watch a disappointing match on my phone using the Dstv app. The JSON object error mentioned above keeps happening and then the Kodi add-on can't play any channels. But the Dstv now app seems to work playing the channels. But when you go to manage devices it gives a error. Isn't there any work around for this perhaps..?

Yeah not sure whats up but in the dstvnow app I get a 403 error "Registration error" when trying to manage devices
App streams fine but kodi addon gives JSON object error
 
Got same error. Tried from pc to watch but get an error saying dstv now is temporarily unavailable as something unexpected went wrong. pleas try again in a few minutes.

Edit:
Looks like a lot of very unhappy customers on FB

Can play from the catch up only in the app but get same error from pc as live tv

Funny enough on pc the issue seems to be chrome browser. I got it working in firefox / edge
