[RELEASE] DStv Now KODI Add-on

I get this error
KeyError:'access_token'
And again I observed the channels I can see are no longer in my region. Any help will be appreciated.
 
I have now been logged out of all my devices and can't log back in. DStv Now on Firefox, the DStv Now app on Android, and the DStv Now add-on on Kodi are all refusing to login. Anybody know what the issue is?
 
Mine's fine now. I had to reset my password. It still doesn't work on Firefox, though. Can't click anything there. So it's not a Kodi problem, but a DStv one.
 
Awesome add-on, thanks guys! I installed 0.10.1 and it works fine except there is no sound. Does anybody else have the same issue?

I had to reset the password via DSTV Connect (all devices were having login problems). On Kodi, I had to logout and login again and then all worked.
 
Yip apparently DSTV changed something with their software around Wednesday to allow users to stay "logged in" (cause you had to re sing-in everytime you closed the dstv website)

... this in turn messed with some user credentials "being lost" .... Resetting your password to something new would apparently solve the problem :sneaky:
 
I found that every device with the add on is now showing in the manage devices tab,never used to do that before.

This latest common has his new quality selection which actually shows the available quality for the content

Ping what address from the pi? connect.dstv.com It was the address in the error message, it does not seem to be an account issue as I just tried it on the pc and it works fine. I'm thinking the Old man did something funny or perhaps an update managed to sneak itself through( the addon only...

Getting KeyError:'access_token' upon login

Not sure if dstv changed anything on their side
 
After resetting my password everything worked fine on my pc & phones,only on my android tv box(Mygica 495 Pro) channels will play for 2 minutes,then stop & kick me out of the channel,also happening on the Dstv app.What could be the issue?

Nope but just tried it now again and now its working. Must have been something on dstv's side. My other devices that was already logged in and had a valid token did not have a problem playing channels though.

Just update to matts latest common.
This uses a new more stable quality select that is compatible with latest kodi 18.4

I'm having a bunch of issues with the TV Guide portion of the add-on. IPTV merge doesn't recognise it anymore. Anybody else experiencing this?

After you mentioned this I did some searching on forums I came across this link. It seems to do the job for the reminder. You can schedule it once, daily, weekly or monthly and more. It works with the PRV iptv simple client. The channel switches over to where the reminder was set. It also starts playing the channel even if you were not streaming anything at all. Give it a test and let us know
