How do one let the original channel numbers show in the TV guide?

Mine shows 1-150 now. I must have unwillingly set something somewhere in IPTV merge.

Settings --> PVR & Live TV --> General --> Use channel numbers from backend

This is not working for me anymore ... even after I cleared data, it still starts from channel 1


EDIT: ok, fixed it by deleting and re-adding the playlist

What VPN? Most have an option to exclude apps you want to bypass. You need to add Kodi to that list.

Hi, Ill ask here since this thread is more active....

Is there no way to get the "showmax" addon more responsive like the dstvnow addon. ?

eg. when you click on movies within the addon, it takes a very long time to show the actual list of movies ... the same once you press stop, it takes long to go back and re-populate the list.

PS: i tried on various android devices and get the same slow response

When you click login, make sure you have a PC or phone that's already logged into DSTV so you can sync the connection with the code supplied on Kodi ....

At the moment Dstv allows you to use up to 4 or 5 devices I think

fyi seems dstv have changed / stopped the old api for EPG.
So expect the epg to stop working over next few days
not sure if it will be fixed

I looked last night and some channels stopped having EPG info around the 4th/5th. I checked now and it's got updated info up to the 6th.

Does that mean you figured out a way to make it work?
