Teamviewer Vs logmein ?

Going to be used for support nationally mostly and now and then internationally

- the faster the better

- Security( as far as i know teamviewer has unique ID's which can be stored and maintained on the teamviewer manager, you can see who and what connections are active etc)

-Cost
-User friendly :)

Your exp using either of these or any other program please advise

Please note: we are using windows 7 32bit and a few 64 bit pc's - all servers 64bit 2008 r2

logmein works like a charm or get them to dial into a VPN and then can access them from one server just using there "local" IP

I personally have been using LogMeIn for a very long time but just started using TeamViewer as well. TeamViewer seems quicker than LogMeIn. I have noticed a few issues with TeamViewer when the two endpoints have different versions, even though they say its 100% backwards compatible.

you can also use UVNC if you forward the ports. if multiple machines on the network, you can change the port to be different on each one.

You can do the same process for RDP.

Ive been using logmein, teamviewer, UVNC, and RDP, and they all have similar functionality, although i think that UVNC gives you more control of the machine, logmein is very easy and fast. I would say that logmein and teamviewer are very similar and just comes down to choosing black or blue.

I have been using Logmein for a very long time but the problem that i have with it is that it is very slow, never tried Teamviewer but i guess it won't do any harm to gooi some test drive who knows.
