Rocketnet - feedback?

So after 5 months on RocketNet, the only thing I can be really critical about is PlayStation Network (PSN).

Downloads I can walk away from and don’t really care how long they take...but being unable to watch game videos (video overview before you purchase a game off PSN) is pretty disappointing on a 100/100 line.

I’m not sure if this is a RocketNet issue or just Vumatel / SA fibre sucking at international. It’s been like this pretty much from the beginning. Every other service is stellar, including Steam downloads.

Works fine for me on A360 fibre. I sometimes find updates on PSN slow as hell and then I just delete the whole game and download it again. My xbox one download fly 100Mbps always so I'm thinking it's a PSN thing.

If you on Rocketnet and in Joburg please ping 185.60.112.108 and report back. This is the IP for StarCraft gaming to Europe.

Wanting to maybe hit up RocketNet as Kiklo are a so rude and staff are worse than trained government departmental staff, could you give me a review of your experience and speeds etc. Like if you download a driver from KillerNetorking what speeds do you get as last night on kiklo i got 30KBps

Kiklo even go as far as to tell me its out of their hands and i must call SeaCom to find out whats going on is this a joke ?

Been told by sources now that Kiklo are loosing their numbers in a big way to Rocket and Cool Ideas dont blame the people

The local speeds on Kiklo are always what you pay for though which is something i can compliment them on just international speeds seem to be shapped at 10Mbps.

Guys is anyone else experiencing slow international speeds on Vuma?
Speeds to US and London are well below 5mbps on their 100/100 package

Spoke to their support and it seems there is an International bandwidth problem at Vuma that they are trying to get a work-around for.

Hey Man, I did send through to you on a ticket

Hi @Ronald-RocketNet

We're moving in a week or two to somewhere that has a metrofibre line already installed. Is it possible for you to do a test from somewhere on your metrofibre network on a 100/100 line to UK, US East and West coasts and Netherlands :) ?

Quite painful today on Vumatel. Frequent disconnects and what feels like super inconsistent speeds. Hopefully it clears up...

Edit: Rebooted the router & ONT... seems a bit better now. Dunno whats up with that.
