Rocketnet - feedback?

I find that most of the issues I face with RocketNet is through them. That is, Vumatel.

RocketNet is quick to open tickets to get stuff actioned on their side, but Vumatel drags their feet. "Premium fibre" my behind.

RocketNet overall is great.

While I had great experience with Rocketnet over Vumatel as you said, we need to be mindful of the fact that
vumatel has a physical infrastructure (fibre etc) to maintain which can get severely affected by digging by many parties over which they don't have control of (Municipality, theft, private builders digging outside their complex and so on) . ISP's are not affected by such issues so it is easy for them to respond. Of course, ISP's will have their own physical infrastructure but not necessarily affected by external factors as above.

Most of the time I only get around 50% of what my local speed is to international.

Spoke to someone from Rocketnet this morning who told me an email will go out soon. I'm quite keen on a downgrade from gigabit to 200/200 if the saving is close to what the other ISPs are putting out there.

So far, after the "upgrade" to 50/50, I have never ever got close to 50. And I have checked at random times. I wonder what the point of this "upgrade" was, if at all there was an upgrade.

It was rather consistent 25/25 if I recall. I will check about rocketnet probe app.
