Hi there

I can assure you that we have one of the best networks in the industry.

The issues that electrofreeze is having seem to be isolated to his area and we are actively working to solve his particular problem.

This test was done on a 100Mbps active Ethernet Internet Solutions Enterprise 1:1 Guaranteed business line.

Hi guys, please test to EOH Network solutions London Speedtest server, I can see that this server is not overloaded like the others might be. I am on a 200/200 line.

Test was done at about 21:30. But as I mentioned my wireless is limiting me.

you can speak to Richard as he is busy with this problem that started last month
the speed test is just an indicator to see the problems but when you cant browse to an address or it takes 5-10 seconds to open a page then there is a serious problem somewhere on the network
one day it is up and the next day it is down and peak time is the worst

Seems like a typical Workonline communications issue (they get transit from Workonline according to bgp.he.net)

I don't know why Directel are still with Workonline for transit, they are terrible in my opinion.

Edit(Further detail about the above): was with another ISP at home who used Workonline for transit (seems like they have changed transit providers since then) and had weird international page slow loading, international speedtests were up and down, moved to another ISP which uses a different Transit provider and issue resolved. Chatted to one of the network engineers from the previous ISP I was using and they agree that there were oddities with their workonline transit and they just gave up and replaced with another transit provider. This was a few months ago so might not still be the case.

any comment from rocketnet on this as it would make sense of the problems we are having

Do you know who the other ISP was?

Hi All,

I have signed up for RocketNet via Octotel and my avg speed down is 25Mbps - 30Mbps on a 100Mbps line.

I have tried via WIFI and LAN cable and the results are pretty much the same.

I have contacted them via their website so let's see the turnaround time for this.

If you looking for a stress free, easy, convenient company to deal with then RSAWEB is the ISP to choose. They cover installation, the router cost and the connection fee plus there is no fair usage policy. You get the line speed that you paying for which is amazing. They deliver such a great service and that's all I've been receiving ever since I joined since last year November. I never had any problems with the network or my service. Thanks to Michael who manages my account and whom is my dedicated account manager. If you looking for a company which has great service contact Michael at [email protected] he'll make your life easier and better.

Thanks for the info Michael... or is it Elizabeth... or Linda....??

speeds are still not what they used to be after more than 3 weeks of problems
youtube is still buffering and browsing is still jerky and slow very far from a 100/100 fiber line more like a 2mbps adsl line
i think it is time now to sort out this problems and give us what we are paying for

Are you sure the problem is not on your side? My kids stream youtube a lot. I've streamed it 1080p60 without buffering. Granted.. it may not have been the exact same time as you, bit still.

Last night's streaming was in fact earlier during a more "prime time" slot.

Yea, I also didn't have any issues streaming at 1080p60 lastnight, even watched a few youtube live streams. This all during peak time on 20/20.

Did twitch upgrade their infrastructure or add local peering? Seems better.
