But I am prepaid, even when I bought the house, no one ask anything from Eskom, just COCT rates clearance, Plumber certificate and COC.

If you bought the house, no one will ask you anything from Eskom/rates/plumber/COC because that is on seller's and not on buyer.

There is no Eskom account it is prepaid, hence there was no requirement for that. My bank that finance the loan, request that and the lawyers make sure you get a copy of the important documents. No eskom account was provided, since it was prepaid.

You literally said to someone to ignore Eskom and municipalities. Ignoring these entities may start off with few to low consequences but these can escalate to arrests. People have been thrown in jail for repeatedly crossing Eskom and if I remember correctly the Westville rate payers association were warned that if they withheld taxes from Ethekwini they ran the risk of criminal charges.

So ya, go ahead ignore them and see what happens when you ignore them for long enough.

Do not listen to the little Eskom defender. Listen to spiff. They are not able to fine or tax because they don`t know who has solar. If you register they will tax you for using sunlight.

And even still, I'd put money on Eskom having some sort of legal route to pursue you beyond civil court if you push them far enough. The same way they can eventually arrest people who tamper with their meters or don't pay their bills, they probably (in theory) could go after you for non-registration if there's a loss of revenue or potential damage to their systems if you ignore them for too long.

I disagree, if you are physically disconnected, there can be no danger to their network and no need to register.

I am seriously considering getting an electrician to terminate the connection into a proper transfer switch, and removing my house supply wires from that switch. This way nothing from house can affect their network.

No, COCT has appointed a company to take photos by plane on a more regular basis than google maps. I suspect COCT/DA helped the GNU to implement the same. This is why suddenly Eskom is herding the cash cows back into the kraal.
