S5, Who has pre ordered?

Called again this morning to see if they can give me a date.

I am on the "first batch list" (whatever that means) but they can not give me a delivery date yet :/

MTN just confirmed mine... with the speaker. They said up to 5 days for delivery.

I also had to choose.... black or white?
 
The advert said delivered on 11'th so I will kick up a fuss if it is not (just for the hell of it).

They told me Monday or Tuesday as they are only leaving Gauteng on Friday. Don't know how that equates with the actual situation, but I'm not in one of the major cities so maybe they are over compensating the delivery time.

Got a RAM courier number so will start checking from tomorrow.
 
Just got an "your order is awaiting dispatch" sms about 10 minutes ago :)
 
Well that's just brilliant.... :mad:

Pre-ordered nearly a month ago and finally got a call from a MTN sales person just now wanting to complete my order.
When I told them I wanted to move down from an Anytime 350 package to Anytime 100 package, I was told that it was not possible because I have to wait until the 350 package ends in June.

If have to wait until June, then I may as well port somewhere else.

Ayone got any advice? :confused:
 
Haven't pre-ordered, but registering today/tomorrow and hopefully they'll be able to give me the phone straight afterwards.
 
I have an S4 and still very happy with it on MTN. I think I will try the iPhone 6 possibly when it is out
 
I have to agree on this. I havent seen a completely stable build as of yet :(

After several variants im back to Stock Kit Kat on my S4.

No news? I wanted the blue one, and my name is on the list at the store. But seems the whole of Cape Town doesn't have the blue one... Kinda suck as 3 people told me it would come on Monday which is today. So far just white and black ones.. Tired of our bad launches.
 
On waiting list since early march. Vodacom shop says waiting for blue stock.

Yes and I love it. Everything runs smoothly, so far zero lag on anything and the camera is awesome.
 
Quick heads up. If you pre-ordered online, and in a store, and the store calls you first..make sure you cancel the online quote before going in to collect. Stores cannot cancel the online quote, only online sales can, and until its done, the store cannot (in my case an upgrade) process the new deal.
