Well from what I remember in my time in close proximity to Conack:
- He failed to manage the raiding team by allowing people who failed miserably to continue being part of the raid group and be carried by other competent players
- He tried to maintain a Care Bear guild concept when it clearly was a major cause of issues and guild unrest
- He showed signs of favouritism towards some raiders
- He wrongfully accused somebody of loot whoring on not one but two occasions
That, to the best of my knowledge and recollection, are some of the things people might have against him.

So yes I'm not a fan of his either, but then again he also has no bearing on my current WoWing so I have no grudges to hold either. Best of luck to him and his guild.

Geessshh I had my fair share of raiding with VERY VERY harsh raid leaders... but from the sound of it Conack is the local Hitler of WoW hehe !

I would also love to know why there is so much hatred towards this dude....

For the record, I am not part of any of the guilds listed in this post nor have I ever been... well maybe tonight I will be applying to one of them if my transfer goes through.

I second you on that one MJ. Last night I was in an ICC25 man and all I heard on TS was "adult men" complaining about how bad the players in the other guild was. (It's two guilds raiding together). Yet they continue raiding with them.

If someon upsets you so much, ignore them and exclude them from your life. Simple as that.

Everybody (4 people?) is riled up over ... what exactly? The sudden shocking realisation that Conack somehow managed to backstab, mudsling and with heaps of favoritism, smokkel Unforgiven II's way past Putricide25? Impressive for a guild that must be only close friends and family!

I'd expect nothing less from my GM \/ He managed to piss off everyone i didn't have the nerve to stand up to - and all the solid non-QQ raiders that make kills happen remain.

Please do not back Conack in any way since you will be unequvically made out as a brown-noser etc. Let him fight his own battle. I fully expect to be called a whimp, favour seeker, fanboy and even boetie-boetie.

You can't blame people running guilds in WoW. Guilds break up, reform, change, migrate, disband ect. all the time. I have been an officer in 2 guilds (hated it) as well as being a member of multiple guilds and I think I can truly say I have seen it all. It really doesn't matter to me unless you are in a guild with friends.

Which is why I believe its useless to slander someone who is a GM, guild politics are there and part of WoW, you can either get mixed up in it or move an and just enjoy everything else, and if your guilds disbands join the new one. By this time you should already have made a lot of friends and be able to join another guild with very little effort.

The friends and family are the ones that are irreplacable. There will always be those that are useful right now, but will be kicked in future when someone on Conack's friends list on facebook wants the spot.

The close RL guild friends we braai with, have not had raiding positions for months. Well played Ethereal. You've proven my point.

A very skilled raider was kicked from the UF2 progression pool (and within days, from the guild) in order to give you a tank spot.

No again. He was back in the guild before i tanked a single thing and is still on good speaking terms to this day with Conack.

Nope - just a firm hand to deal with crap that nobody else wants to touch. If you're an instigator then it would look like abuse of power to get ahead. Btw getting ahead is what serious raiders are after these days.

Unfortunately it seems evolution is a process that takes millenia and sadly, you will be missing that boat. Your lack of intellect or originality is clearly evident in you inablility to post any meaningful arguments or counter-arguments, but instead resort to pointless quote replies. It's actually sad that by your second post we've managed to establish that we can expect very little from you in the way of constructive debate. You dont expect to get help by calling people babbling children. Your sympathetic cry for community help while calling the community children will earn you no favours. You also contradict yourself. First you want help from WoW players then you say you wont be playing. So which is it? WoW carries a teen rating so you don't qualify to play in any case. Might I refer you to Hello Kitty Adventure Island should you wish to play a MMO more suited to your "tastes".

The only thing I would like to know is who you are? Were you on US stormrage as well? The drama makes for an interesting read but would be so much better if you revealed who you actually are.

My actions during my tenure in these guilds were less memorable than other peoples. That does not mean I didn't see what was going on.
