I'm not really a fan of any SA music (at least I haven't come across any that I actually like). I quite enjoy metal, and all the local metal bands just try to sound like famous international metal bands, so why would I listen to a cheap local knock-off?

You may not like it, but many others do. It is really unfair of you to throw such insults at our performers :(.
 
hey guys i recently started liking south african music have you guys heard RJ BENJAMIN this guys is awesome and i am looking for 2 music videos or songs of his but can only find one. this guy is a jewish white dude that has soul. fantastic. do any of you guys know where i can get some of his music on the web.

damn just check out one of his live shows on youtube type in 340ml & rj benjamin. i will check out you link now thanks.

The Awakening ...... their last album Razor Burn is now a proud addition to my cd collection. Very good :cool:
 
CrashCarBurn, Harris Tweed, Parlotones, Watershed, Nude Girls, Seether(can they be called local?) are probably my favourite local artists :) Im into mainstream music lol :p
