SA online iPad deals compared

Expansys has a few variants also, but kalahari.net has them beat on prices.

Thats a lot of money for something that has no purpose.

I guess you dont have one, I also thought like you did, but you need to get one and use it for a few days and then see if you feel the same way

Bidorbuy.co.za

Look at the 1's under auction.....they are new. Sometimes you get lucky, like me who sits up until midnight, and sometimes you don't.

You do know what this all means then, the article wasn't properly researched.
So far I've seen 4 other suppliers not mentioned in the article and they offer competitive prices.

I just want to make a few comments. I don't think it is worth buying the iPad now with the new iPad around the corner within a few days. The new iPad will be much improved with back and front cameras (for facetime) and a better, possibly retina display. The prices will be the same as well. The iPad is without a doubt the best buy of all the tablets. For starters, the software is not fractured and the apps store is the best amongs many other advantages. I have a new Macbook Air and with the new apps on the Macbook Air I dont see the need to own one. Maybe for reading. Anyway, it is a nice to have.

wots the diff between the 16Gb and 64Gb model? Is it only 48Gb extra memory or some other extra features?
>R2000 for 48Gb only is a touch much...

Use it to do what exactly?
Read books/news, watch video, control my media centre, invoicing, as a second display for my laptop, teach my kids, portfolio, capture images from my camera, browse/email . . .
