If it came to war , they would just invade SA . It not like we have any ships/planes or army left
All I can say is that SA does not currently control it in any manner or form
There is no reason for any country to be fighting over sa for that reason above

Helen Zille's Joburg mayoral candidacy gets a nod
In a weekend opinion piece, the left-leaning author Ebrahim Harvey, who penned former president Kgalema Motlanthe’s autobiography, said he believes former DA leader Helen Zille has the attributes required to turn the city of gold around.www.ewn.co.za
Harvey, who has recently moved to Cape Town, said that while service delivery in the city’s townships is a legitimate concern when compared to that in the suburbs, they are still in a better state than in other parts of the country.
Da bad, and what about khayalitsha oh and hammanskraalChampy will conveniently ignore this part:
But the 'DA is racist' cry the ANC/EFF/MK drones...
A distraught father of four from Kraaifontein claims he was defrauded out of R35 000 by an ANC councillor who allegedly promised him a plot of land that never materialised.
Zamayedwa Ncedani told News24 that in 2022, he paid the ANC councillor Siviwe Nodliwa, for what he believed was a legitimate land purchase.
“This wasn’t a bribe,” Ncedani said.
“I was buying a plot from him. Since he works for the municipality, I trusted that he would follow through. All I wanted was a place I could call my own,” Ncedani said.
However, weeks turned into months, and eventually, a year passed with no plot and no explanation.
“There was a section in Kraaifontein being prepared for housing where people could purchase plots instead of waiting for RDP houses. That’s what I was hoping for. But instead, he robbed me and stopped communicating with me altogether,” Ncedani said.
Now, Ncedani and his family are forced to rent a small, overcrowded two-bedroom shack.
He said:
Two of my children sleep in the kitchen.
“In the morning, they pack away their bedding so we can use the space again. They’d have their own bedrooms if I had a proper place,” he added:
Frustrated after failing to get his money back, Ncedani reported the matter to the Speaker of the City of Cape Town Council, Felicity Purchase, in early 2024.
“They conducted a forensic investigation. It’s been completed, but they refuse to share the findings with me,” he said.
Purchase confirmed that the investigation was done and was handed to her office.
“I am currently considering the findings and the way forward,” she said.
Asked for comment, Nodliwa did not deny nor admit that he pocketed the money.
“I hear what you are saying,” he said.
“I will wait for the Speaker to table the findings in council, then I will break my silence,” he said.
The ANC also did not respond to questions sent by News24.
Nodliwa is no stranger to controversy.
In 2023, he hired convicted rapist Masilakhe Benedict Ngqebe as his clerk. At the time, Nodliwa claimed he was unaware of Ngqebe’s criminal record.
The municipality said it could not intervene, as the post was a political appointment made at the councillor’s discretion.
Hey @TheChamp, waiting patiently to hear how this was Cillier's fault?
I must be missing something, doesn't this relate to the 2022 budget when Cilliers was mayor?Hey @TheChamp, waiting patiently to hear how this was Cillier's fault?
