In every case the sales pitch is free market, Classical Liberalism but the underlying rationale is that the free market needs the guiding hand of the power of the Collective...

1. You need a political party to remove laws.

Since when does a political party do anything but pass more laws?

2. You need the government to (perpetually) fix electricity before a market can work....

Ffs. Gimme a break.

3. You need an entity that is not by itself a creation of voluntary interaction to restore the benefits of voluntary interaction.

Charlatantry-101

4. Eliminating the rotten fruit of the rotten seeds we sow.

Who doesn't want that?

5. Fixing failiing municipalities by decentralizing powers.....

... except if it means real decentralization of powers, where the stats show it is legitimate.

6. Cracking down on organized crime....

... as long as it doesn't entail us losing our career benefits.

Suddenly all the noise yesterday about how the GNU is collapsing makes sense.

Good morning!

Plans are underway to rename Port Alfred in the Eastern Cape to iCawa or iCoyi, the Kowie River to iQoyi, and Alexandria to Nkosi Chungwa or eMnyameni.

Heart palpitations incoming. 🤣

The GNU has collapsed.

ANC and the president Ramaphosa say they are driving the NDR in the GNU and Steenhuisen and the DA say they are driving against it.

Yes, the GNU has so much potential to not only survive, but flourish as well. 🤣

Eish. Not that it is any of my business but having listened to different pronunciations of just "Gqeberha" mainly on radio, I am looking forward to hearing slaughter of these new names.

Calm down, comrade. No one is gonna leave their newly found jobs. They didn't struggle to be poor again.
