that uber driver who was burned was probably a foreigner. We don't care much about them on mybb.

Sheesh! I get that but shooting someone and burning them alive in their car is wild.

And if they were a foreigner, they were probably here with papers as that is required by Uber.

Taxi drivers back at it again, taking out the competition... literally. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if the ANC has vested interests with the taxis too (hence the non-action).

Also, the burning is probably to send a message to the others...

The ANC definitely have a vested interest in taxis but people also need to take responsibility. Don't get into taxis that are clearly not road worthy or overloaded. Don't put up with a driver that is breaking every road rule under the sun.

You are the customer, you dictate the level of service you expect and if you don't get it, take your business elsewhere. Ive caught taxis in my younger days and once you're familiar with your route you know who the good and bad ones are.

Taxi associations are untouchable. Government would never dare to be so bold as to take action....

Residents are now burning taxis in Soweto.

NB - Rupert did say taxis are his army so don't in your usual fashion only pin this on the ANC.

I'm surprised people even post about Taxi violence , we all know they are a law on their own and government is scared of them,

I've watched the "government" deal with taxi associations before.

Mayor in Durban basically told Metro Police to leave them alone a few years ago when they were protesting about the bus service stuff.
