What you and some others like Malcom do not understand is that , yes , elections are won through the ballot box , but there are a myriad of tools used to inform on where work needs to be done and to guide on how that work needs to be done. One of those tools is polls. BUT the methods and coverage of those polls need to be known and understood to interpret them properly and allocate the relevant weighting to them.

Nothing compares to a ANC/ASA PR rat trying to spin a story. Not even a poll

How long has the DA been using those myriad of tools yet they remain a 20% party, myriad of tools and millions in funding, for 20%?

By getting enough votes in the elections, it's truly not a complicated concept.

Well, it's not through building and delivering resources to the people, that's for sure.

R30m later, Giyani sports centre still stands unfinished after a decade
Ten years after the construction contract was signed, with over R30 million spent, a sports centre in Giyani in Limpopo is still incomplete. The grandstand is complete, and there is a fence and gates, but there are no changing rooms or toilets, and no football pitch. Windows have been broken, and a stream of water runs through the unfinished tennis court.

Spokesperson for the Greater Giyani Municipality Steven Mavunda said funds to complete the stadium, in Giyani’s Section E, had been exhausted. The municipality had now budgeted further funds to revive the stalled project.

And how long has the ANC been in government and still keep losing votes each election cycle? Do you remember the 17% drop in support?

How come it keeps happening to them? With all the funding, looting and such?

It’s not a complicated process….

Do you now understand that a myriad of tool and polls are useless if you only get 20% in an election?

Lots of work to be done still to get past the 30% boundaries and tribal voting
Things are getting there. ANC is in a decline

The ANC spends the most on elections (far more than the DA due to state resources and all the corruption), and their vote share is well off their high of 69% in 2004. Why is that? The DA getting 22% in 2024 was actually a big achievement given the PA surge...

That's why they have been winning elections all along, they have something to show for the funding, unlike the DA, spending money on that party is like throwing money down the drain.

That's the problem, the myriad of tools said they got 30% in 2024, maybe they are using the myriad of tools wrong?
Maybe there is just a lot of stoopid and criminal tendencies in the majority of the electorate.
After all it seems to be the ANC policy to keep their electorate dumb

The DA has plenty to show - control of the WC (the only province where the ANC is completely shut out of power) and many large municipalities across the country. Also in 2024, it's the first time the DA has participated as part of the national government, which the DA would regard as a win as they can actually exercise power. And I can tell you now, the DA funders will be overjoyed with Zille as mayor of JHB - that will be the crowning achievement for the DA in 2026.

Why are you asking me? I never mentioned it. I asked you a question - and in typical deflection form - you’ve avoided the painful truth.

Blacks, you mean blacks. Why are you using euphemisms now. Did your mods warn you not to be openly racist ?

It was meant as it was written....
If I wanted to say black then I would have said blacks
I state the facts , if you then twist its meaning that is on you

If I post a story where a specific person is black and he is involved in theft / corruption etc , it doesnt change the fact he is black. No matter how embaressing it is for your tribe
