The only people that seem to be good with the DA or atleast tolerate their arrogance in government are the FF+ and BOSA, parties which also pull low votes meaning the DA doesn't have the right friends to rule Johannesburg or ever come back into national government when they are kicked out of the GNU or leave themselves when the ANC brings in the EFF and/or the MK, ActionSA and Co.

Not a problem SA is getting fedup with those corrupt parties. I'm sure DA will have a much larger piece of the pie next round and wouldn't need the help of some of those corrupt parties.

That's a real possibility and gives the GLM a chance to regain some semblance of credibility after Dada's reign of destruction...
 
I don't think the ANC have realised yet that Aunty is going to campaign hard - for an entire year (and a bit) - in JHB. That is far longer than is typical of SA election campaigns, which are usually compressed into a few months.

Stop being all over the place, we are going to the elections, if no one gets a majority, coalitions must be formed, who is more likely to be able to form a coalition between the DA and the ANC in Joburg?

I'm not engaging in such naval-gazing, as it's impossible to predict with any degree of certainty. As some others have pointed out, what happens if the DA and ANC do a grand coalition deal?

Neither. They will form a coalition between themselves and the ANC will assume their position as second in command...

They can't answer because the answer is no one. 🤣

The DA is screwed. They don't have the numbers to govern alone and most political parties hate them. It will be interesting to see how Zille governs JHB as the mob here says without numbers and allies that matter. 🍿

She could campaign very very hard for a century if it was possible and the DA and her would still not get JHB. 🤣

The DA and her are too disliked.

A lot has changed since my time. I went to a Technical College, something I doubt you have. The technical colleges of those days were plentiful, as were technical high schools, as they fed the mines and industries of South Africa with scarce artisans.

South Africa has deindustrialised since then, reducing the need for artisans. We used to build our own trains, power stations and military hardware, remember? It's why the army is running 40+ year old armoured vehicles.
