LMAO. I'm sorry I'm not jumping for joy for another commission of inquiry with another set of recommendations never to be implemented.

I really apologise.

Another smash hit of yours as with the corrupt but effective SOEs.
Your AI is still on repeat, cully.

Which would also make it a whole lot harder for squirrel to bury this.
So parliament is doing it's own investigation, the judicial commission will do its investigation, hand the report to parliament, that does not have an ANC majority, making it hard for Cyril to bury this.

So what exactly are you people moaning about?

To those calling the "Nays" for the commission, "moaners"...

Do you guys honestly think something will come out of this? Genuinely? Do you honestly think that at this point, the ANC would willingly vote for implementing the recommendations of such a commission, while Zondo is gathering dust?

Please enlighten me, I genuinely want to know.

56) Evidence or information before National Assembly

The National Assembly or any of its committees may—
(a) - summon any person to appear before it to give evidence on oath oraffirmation, or to produce documents;
(b) - require any person or institution to report to it;
(c) - compel, in terms of national legislation or the rules and orders, any person orinstitution to comply with a summons or requirement in terms of paragraph(a) or (b); and
(d) - receive petitions, representations or submissions from any interested personsor institutions.
Parliamentary committee powers.

Maybe stop with your esteemed logic, as I mentioned with the SOEs, and I'll turn it off.
That you struggle to comprehend my superior logic (add that to your mantra) isn't my problem. The SOE thing was well articulated but adherents like you and Toxic are wearing oogklappe.

I'll give you 1 guess Champy, it's not hard.

If only you had provided a logical alternative, you are talking about a combination of IPID and SIU to investigate, have you checked the mandate of both entities?

How does IPID which only has a mandate to investigate police officers going to investigate Brown Mogotsi, Mchunu or any other person who is not a police officer?

How is an entity like the SIU, whose mandate is to investigate civil matters equipped to deal with an investigation of this magnitude?

As well articulated as a drunk oke trying to explain the Preamble of the Constitution...

I'm sorry that I, a lowly DA appratchik (yes, I can use Big English too), am oppressing you so...

Forgive me. HALLLLLLLLLLLALLLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAA NEW COMMISSION THAT WILL AMOUNT TO NOTHING, HALAAAAAAAAALAAAAAAAAAA

LONG LIVE R13 SUPERIOR LOGIC LONG LIVE!

I also mentioned parliamentary committees and posted s56 of the Constitution related to that. Anything about them? No?

I'll just give you what you want to hear:

Calls me drunk and then proceeds to type like a drunk. You're at least learning to copy big words off of me.

And how exactly does the commission stop those parliamentary committees?

Did you honestly expect the President to pronounce on parliament processes? Have you ever heard of something called separation of powers?

LMAO. As expected, Cyril declares a commission of inquiry for 6 months (that will probably become a year+ like Zondo, that leads to nothing), and only put Senzo on leave, not even a suspension.

As an extra kick in the nuts for the Republic, Cyril appoints an "independent" person as Acting Minister (according to section 91.3a of the Constitution), only to reveal that he used to be ANC MEC for Community Safety in GP.

A ****ing joke...

Section 91(3)(a) reads as follows:

(3) The President-
(a) must select the Deputy President from among the members of the National Assembly;
(b) may select any number of Ministers from among the members of the Assembly; and
(c) may select no more than two Ministers from outside the Assembly.

Where do you see a reference to a independent person?

Firstly, note the double quotes.

Secondly, a mistype. I meant 3c.

Dont stress about it... In a few months or even a couple of weeks we will have forgotten all about this. Life goes on. I dont even know why Squirrel took the time on a sunday night to get off his podgy arse and appear on TV...
