This comes as the Johannesburg minority governing parties threatened to withdraw their support for the leading coalition last week because of their perception that the ANC had disrespected them by intending to fill the then-vacant finance member of the mayoral committee (MMC) position with someone from the ANC.

On Wednesday, the minority governing parties wrote to Mayor Dada Morero and ANC regional coordinator Sasabona Manganye, saying the parties believed that Amad, whose highest qualification is a matric, should be given the position of finance MMC, arguably the most important after the city manager.

Well at least everything progresses as we have grown to expect.

Lets give someone with a Matric and who fscked the city up even further some say over whatever funds are left.... Winner of a choice that.

I think it is related with costs that are involved while municipalities are struggling to do basic services.
Majority of people nowadays just shrug their shoulders at it.
It is vanity project for comrades to return "dignity" to the people while they do not have water and sewage is flowing down the streets.
 
I wonder why it's hard for Al Jamama to put forward someone with better qualifications, is Gwamanda and Amad the best they can do?

Municipalities are just stealing the tax payers blind. They don't give a flying F about anything else.

Tribe is not same as race but I knew there will be a reasonable explanation from you about qualification of "your" matriculant.

NDR is a ANC political framework and is one of teh reasons SA is in so much **** now
