SA Post Office - We deliver parcels without delays

Been a month now, still waiting for my Tarn Adams artwork to be delivered.

The counter clerk in our Post Office was sitting at his desk asleep. I asked his colleague when he might wake up and was told he is on tea.
I know what kind of tea he is on. The happy kind.

At the snap of a finger from zero to 100% deliveries? Tragic that they believe their own bul &@t

What a load of..... When you call the incoming depot in JHB, post office staff tell you that they have a back log of 4 months and cant tell you when they will be able to process your parcel...Still waiting for a parcel since February...lovl

That trust was lost a long time ago. How about they start by reimbursing us for all the packages they have lost and the reputable damage done to South African businesses and individuals? Then maybe start again providing the expected service of a postal carrier.

Maybe it's time for mybroadband to do another test again?

1 month it lay in Cape Mail before it left fro Sweden. Then it got returned ..... no idea why? A package which was a gift cost us 1K s we had to repay to send again... which did get there ater 2 weeks. :(

When I read this I just had to laugh.... They lost or stole all mail that was send to our post box for a whole year. Never again... will I rent a Post Box from SAPO.

In the USA that would be a Federal crime. In RSA they dont give damn, and just stuff your post box full of unsolicited pamphlets as well. A post box you pay for.

Well, just ordered an item from Aliexpress, will see how long its going to take to get to me. I think I will be generous and give it 2 months.

Well colour me surprised.

My package from china actually arrived at the post office this past weekend, picked it up yesterday.

So from the 9th Oct when I placed the order to let's say 15 Nov = 37 days to get here - not bad compared to the past.

I'm still waiting for a book sent from the US on 27th September

Had to go and fetch a parcel from the other side of town.

Not sure what is up with that, they are definitely not using Postal Codes, as was promised more than 40 years ago.
