SABC cancels Springbok-Ireland broadcasts

The South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) will no longer broadcast the Springboks' matches against Ireland in South Africa on 6 July and 12 July 2024.

The broadcaster said the decision followed the recent urgent litigation at the Competition Appeal Court over the broadcast rights to test matches.

Useless broadcast right. Specifically excludes streaming and only watchable on terrestrial or some form of dstv platform whether satellite or streaming.

Waste of money for SABC. Glad someone finally read the damn contract.

Well read somewhere it'll be free on NZR+ if you live in one of the non-rugby playing countriess in Euro-Asia (IE Denmark/Russia/China). So there is an option

Great, off to the high seas. Any suggestions?
A good VPN with a server in Denmark or The Netherlands. Then when connected to the VPN download NZR+ and login and watch for free, and no "worries that the sailing of the high seas bring"
