SADV FTTH feedback

I just moved into De Velde estate in Somerset West and it looks like SADV is the fibre partner.

I was amped to find out that the estate has fibre. The prices are are a bit ridiculous in my opinion compared to Vumatel for example. The contract lock in is also not on. It seems that Balwin are also involved with the development of our estate (they still building here).
I contacted Cybersmart and they notified me that they are willing to reach out this side if there are enough interested parties. Hopefully the estate will allow other providers to move in.
 
please can you clarify this post. I just called about signing up with you over a SADV network and was told that you are still busy signing up with SADV and I would not be able to for a a couple months still.

Hi Nitelee, who did you speak to? Drop a mail to [email protected] and we can get the ball rolling.

PBcool have you guys made any progress with my query? Still waiting for some feedback for Serengeti. Any help would be appreciated

Nitelee this is still with SADV as soon as we get feedback we will liaise it to you.

Hi PBCool, SADV is not listed as a fiber provider so I cannot complete the order form. :-(
 
Hi M1100s. Did you manage to sign up to use Cool Ideas on SADV network? I am also in De Velde, and am considering them.
 
We are still awaiting on SADV unfortunately, all the orders have been placed with them.
 
We are also getting SADV shortly. Had a good meeting with them and they seem really good. They have open access to a few other providers so thats good.
 
I spoke to SADV a week ago. Currently, Cool Ideas is the only provider using their network, and unfortunately only in Johannesburg at the moment. They told my that they are in discussion with VC at the moment as well.

So if they have any projects going in Cape Town we are able to provide services there as well, we are also in chats with VC but their wholesale FTTH manager recently resigned so this will put things months behind with the pace that VC works at.
