That pleather back does the trick, I'm sure it will feel better than the el cheapo plastic on the Galaxies and the old Notes. I think I might have found my next phone. Unless the LG G2 launches here first that is.

I thought i was the only one that liked the LG G2. I own the Note II but i wouldn't mind upgrading to the G2.

This time around I am sure the LTE version will receive just as much, if not more, support from the development community. I like me some AOSP on my devices. Will fully check out the Samsung features, of course. :p

Whoo hoo!!! Oh yeah i have waited for this for a long time. I can upgrade early middle October. I really hope it arrives in SA not too long after that! Cheers trusty S2. Its been emotional...
 
Damn near perfect for me, I see a few fellow S2 users in this thread.

I hated the pebble design, the Note 3 takes design inspiration from the S2 and I cant be happier :love:

Now to move onto the accessories, the Note 3 showcased itself on the Spigen website early on and I cant think of a better accessory maker presently, I still have their screen protector intact after 2 years of abuse and its as perfect as the day I installed it :D

I hope they make this :

You are 100% correct!

Never thought of it, but the Note 3 does look exactly like an oversized S2 - and maybe the reason why I liked it immediately!

I think the reason you guys like the looks of the S2 and Note 3 is because you are secretly in love with the iPhoney. :D
 
I think most S2 owners are gonna get this (I certainly am) :D Mainly because our contracts are upgrading Oct, Nov and it takes something special to move away from the S2...

I agree, the S2 rocks and will continue to do so for a long while yet but the Note 3 is the first phone to give me the same warm and fuzzy feeling I had 2 years ago, had it not been the case I would still stick with my S2 upgrade or not.

Never thought I would see Kingrob give up his S2 also :D
 
Yes, and a lot of the S2 buyers (like myself) are now ready for an upgrade after two years, so the Note 3 came at exactly the right time. Now I am just wonder when it will be available. :)
