Samsung Galaxy Note 7 (previously Note 6)

samsung sa is not committing to Aug 2nd release in SA

Vodacom stocks the P9 Plus. So do Cell C (the dual sim version). MTN isn't stocking it yet. Can't confirm if Telkom is, didn't have time to visit them. This is accurate as of Friday as I went to all the retailers on Friday.

Yes, that's where I saw them. Still deciding on whether to get the Huawei or Note 7...
I think you'll only decide when you can test the note 7 yourself. Might be an easy choice if the note 7 price is way off.

If the Note 7 isn't up to what I want, I am going to look at the LG V10 Successor.
I haven't even looked at that. I'm hoping the new crazy telkom contracts include the note 7 and the likes for only a couple extra hundred more.

It is such a pity the v10 was never released in south africa. Was deff a better option than the g4. Hopefully we will get the v20
Indeed! Lets hope so, I heard it may get unveiled at IFA in early Sept, may be worth waiting a little longer, skipping the Note 7.

Even more talk of 4GB RAM and a slightly smaller battery than the S7 Edge (3500mAh in N7 vs. 3600mAh in S7E).

I think I may jump ship. The Note 7 will come at a Premium with +6month old specs, I may as well get a Huawei Mate 8 or wait for the LG at this point.

Uggh, Samsung.

We tend to get Samsungs at the same time as most Western European countries, so the UK and German release dates may be when we get it, haven't seen what they are yet though
Yeah but it's sad that Samsung sa don't have a clue or don't wanna share at this stage to move more s7 stock.
