Damn I'm so excited. I'm on an S4 for about four years so you can imagine why!

hi ,
that might be so .,as with the Galaxy S range etc .!
However, i have found/personal experience,
that that is not always the case with Note range .!
That said ,however I can "vaguely" remember once,
when MTN managed to pip Vodacom to this.!
I have nearly all Notes( 2,3,4,and 5 )
I have noticed on Note range, Vodacom normally having sole distribution rights.!
(Usually for a week/maybe 10 days ) and yes, you right about colour issue !
This was also case with Note 5 ,that only Vodacom had distribution for, a week or so .
Yes ,other networks will have adverts etc
and pre orders and make promises .
When it comes to actually distribution (re Note range )
their reply, is some excuse ...."..Sorry ..this or that etc "
Anycase,
i don't want to argue case ,as i have personal experience regarding this issue .
Also been told many times by Vodacom management ( not sales persons etc )
re: sole distribution rights etc .
Your experience might be different .?
I accept that .!

...that would be most well come as i paid R1700 for my Gear Vr headset
a month back( to work with my Note5) and now its basically useless (C port )
Now my question is if this is true ,i pre order with Vodacom will i get this bundle VR etc ..??

Further this article states Samsung wants to bring Samsung Pay next year first quarter to South Africa .??

Also the colours available Blue, Black and Gold .

I must be honest the note 7 is stunning. The curved edges are so elegant.... Yes please... My edge has served me well but it's time to move on up
 
All the years the samsungs have had a world wide release on the same day.... The s7 range did. Yet its available in the states from 19 August and us the 1 September. Doesnt make sense

hi ,
Yes , the Galaxy S range and Note range is different, in this regard .
Last year, with the Note range it was only released in S.A ,a month or 2 or 3 ? after international launch !!
That's when Samsung played "hardball " and did not want to release the Note 5, in the UK and eventually did not .
Normally ,the Note range is released in SA ,around October .
So we are actually lucky.(this year )
Samsung launch should be a Thursday night ( Cape town ..? ) 1 September .?
Then on September 2 , the Note should be in the Vodashops .
Reason is ,
i believe is that Samsung wants to have a "jump start " on sales on Apple this year ?
Apparently ,Iphone 7 is to be launched on the 9 th September 2016.
Above is how i read the current situation (..who knows i might be wrong . ?)
Bottom line ,
For Samsung ,its all about the " money /sales/profit "
