That is because MTN is useless...

I am 2 months away from my contract being over. Been there for 18 years - that is enough for me. I need to get rid of them now!

Well even samsung said they cant confirm a date via twitter. Seems only usa will be revieving there note 7's on or before the 19 Aug

Ah they can keep their Note7. I'm going to keep my Note4 instead. Maybe the Note8 release will be less of a mess...

Crap! Well then, the LG V20 is being announced early September, so at least I now have time to see if I still want the Note7.

I bet Samsung are scrambling for an early release in the USA to beat the iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus and possible iPhone 7 Pro 16th September release, thats why the rest of us are being shafted.

USA is the strongest iPhone territory, and there is a lot of talk of an iPhone7 Pro which may be the real direct competitor to the Note series, so Samsung want to make sure they get as much attention and sales as they can out of the Note7 before the Apply hypemachine gets going.

iPhone sales have stagnated, and even declined in most of the major markets, with the US being an exception, if I'm not mistaken.

Still it is not fair. Its only of recent years that the american markets have started pushing samsung. Its the rest of the world that supported samsung before that. Dont forget the little people on your way up samsung

Eish, that is the big question hey!

I assume (HOPE), it will as the G5 seems to have tanked, and the V10 had such a great reception as a public Beta that they choose to have a broader launch for the V20, and challenge the Samsung Note Range and Apple iPhone Plus/Pro Range in more markets.

Yeh, but LG is just not popular in SA... the G4 was, but with the G5's disappointment, I doubt that want to risk another one...

If the note 7 is only arriving in October i may also go for the v20. My s4 is really acting up. Had to remove the power button on Sunday cos of bootloop. And the camera keeps freezing. Damn.

Samsung said in a reply to my tweet. Pre orders 9 sep and available the 23 September

Its frustrating because samsung said that from the 5 July 5 million Units where going to be produced. One would have thought they would shared evenly world wide....
