Well yes you should be able to flash the ROM.Surely you can unlock one though?
Well yes you should be able to flash the ROM.
But sometimes USA locked phones are a completely different variant and the 3G & 4G Bands could be carrier specific.
Versions: N930V (Verizon); N930A (AT&T); N930P (Sprint); N930T (T-Mobile), N930R4 (US Cellular); N930W8 (North America)
We normally get the European version: N930F

Samsung does offer International Warranty albeit only 1 year after the date of purchase.hi ,
I would not buy device from "overseas "
Think in terms of warranty ..?
If something goes wrong with phone ?
I might be wrong , but i am nearly positive
Samsung S .A would not repair phone /
Honour warranty (eg .be it cracked screen or hardware issues or whatever !.)
I have read of many users ( on various other forums ) complain/cry , regarding this issue .
They bought device in another country ,and cannot repair it locally, as the warranty only covers country where they bought phone .Only solution was to send it back eg Uk or America etc.
I would also not buy online
eg Orange Store's.
I only bought once online and when I had issues, found i only had a 1 year warranty .
However ,
i want to point out that if you buy/contact etc , from local Service provider eg .Vodacom / its normally a 2 year warranty.Samsung covers first year and eg Vodacom the second...or something like that.?
Plse note , i might be wrong about above view point .( Correct me if i am )
Bottom line ,its your choice.
Good luck.
hi ,Samsung does offer International Warranty albeit only 1 year after the date of purchase.
http://www.samsung.com/sec/support/guarantee/InternationalWarranty.html
Local devices are covered both years by Samsung directly, not 1 year Vodacom and 1 year Samsung...
Won't ever buy stuff online? So you basically 10 years behind... I've had a much more pleasant experience by shopping online for many different things, mostly it prevents me from interacting with employees who aren't trained properly and don't know the products they selling. (Not all employees but most)
Maybe your case was different but buying online is no different(mostly) than going to a store in regards to the product you receive.
Please stop scaremongering other people with online purchases because your single online purchase wasn't satisfactory to you (Even though I'm sure the warranty period was disclosed before you made your purchase...)
Thank you , for your positive vibe/message.. .!Why so much hostility guys! Let's focus on the subject.
I can clearly see English is not your first language, so your spelling and typing skills will be excused.hi ,
Plse ,you ranting and raving about online purchasing. You obviously misunderstood
my post .Plse take time to properly read my post .!!!
I was discussing a phone i bought online that only had 1 year warranty instead of a 2 yrs !
Further ,
I regularly from time to time purchased other items online, no issues .So plse stop assuming i am against online shopping .?
I never stated this in my post !
Also i know Samsung has international warranty.
I stated i am "nearly " positive
Samsung ...not Samsung won't......!!
I based this assumption on other users post i read etc .etc .
It's one thing to have a warranty ,but will they honour it ..?
Point is ,you to quick to jump on your keyboard
and rant and rave !!
Relax and read my post properly.!
Good luck
Shot man I will part waysWhy so much hostility guys! Let's focus on the subject.
