Ah well. There goes the decent discussion we were having in this thread.
This. Going to ignore that personal attack just like the mods...
You're right, I should probably have just ignored the trolling, sorry for collaborating in the derail.
There are more Samsungs out there so there is bound to be more at repair shops.Samsung have been messing up on the hardware front for a few years now. That's when they introduced the ADH warranty system. I went into a Samsung repair centre once and the guy showed me pages of phones in for repairs at the time just to deter my bud from thinking he can get his phone repaired in a day or two, all while I'm standing there with a Huawei P1 made in China that's never been in for repairs within 4 years of usage.
Samsung make great products but they need to sort out their QC system because someone along the line is slacking.
EE has confirmed that it has stopped offering new Galaxy Note 7 phones to customers as part of the exchange programme and is instead offering a choice of other devices.
The firm told V3 in a statement that it will not run the exchange programme after increasing reports that even Note 7 replacements are catching fire and exploding.
“Following recent media reports of further Note 7 issues in the US and Canada, we have suspended Note 7 exchanges and are currently in direct contact with Samsung regarding next steps on the matter," EE said.
Customers will be offered the Samsung S7 Edge, or any other phone of their choice, based on using the value of the Note 7 to offset the cost of any other device, such as an iPhone 7.

I've got a 4yrld S2 here, broke my S3 myself, gave my S4 away and its still going well, and my 2yrld Note4 still doing fine.
Like any other OEM, Samsung dont make perfect phones and there are bound to be lemons, or people who brake them.
ADH is meant for Drops (glass cracking) and Water Damage, so how can you attribute that to 'messing up in hardware'? Have you seen how expensive it can be to repair a 5inch, 5.5inch or 5.7inch Display on a smartphone??? Apple have AppleCare and AppleCare+ due to this, so Samsung brought ADH and ADH Premium to compete.
Samsung has permanently discontinued the note 7

I asked lg on twitter a few weeks ago and they said we are getting the v20.... Suppose remains to be seenSo which is it going to be then?
1) LG V20 - removable battery. Same size screen as Note 7.
2) Huawei P9 plus - non-removable battery. Little smaller screen.
3) Samsung S7 edge - non-removable battery. Little smaller screen.
Is the LG V20 even going to be available in SA?
Decisions...
